With a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Postgraduate specialization in Creative Processes and Film Industry, combining scientific knowledge with storytelling skills. Helena's background includes a photography certification from the International Institute of Photography (IIF), alongside extensive experience in underwater photography. As a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, she have worked on international conservation projects (Australia and South Africa) and conducted funded scientific research on artisanal fishing and ghost fishing impacts during 2 years (Brazil). In 2021 the biologist also had the opportunity of founding the socio-environmental movement Projeto Martin, which over the course of 3 years carried out environmental education and beach clean-ups.

Life Mission

Since 2015 when she started diving, all her following moves have been to protect what she loves most, nature and its abundance. With expertise in biology and filmmaking, her mission is to capture and tell the stories of wildlife, emphasizing the effects of human impact on ecosystems. The goal is to foster environmental awareness and motivate action for the preservation of natural habitats through compelling films and imagery. Helena believe's that every dive or nature immersion is and opportunity to learn something new.
